Currently residing in Bali, Indonesia, Faizal has made significant strides in the tech industry, including the successful sale of his cybersecurity digital forensic software company in 2017 to Ionasia.
TechPulse Asia: Faizal, can you tell us about your journey in the tech industry?
Faizal Senen: Absolutely! I founded a cybersecurity digital forensic software company that focused on helping organizations protect their data and investigate breaches. After years of hard work and dedication, we were fortunate enough to be acquired by Ionasia in 2017. It was a significant milestone for me, and it allowed me to focus on new opportunities in the tech space.
TechPulse Asia: What are you currently working on?
Faizal Senen: I’m working on my own startup now that will revolutionize the ride-hailing industry. Additionally, I am helping startups in Indonesia by building their tech, system architecture, and more. I also assist them in scaling their businesses, ensuring they have the right tools and strategies to succeed.
TechPulse Asia: That sounds exciting! What inspired you to move to Bali?
Faizal Senen: Bali is turning into a digital hub, making it easier to meet other coders and startup owners. The vibrant tech community here fosters collaboration and innovation, which is essential for anyone in the tech industry.
TechPulse Asia: It’s great to see how you’re contributing to the tech ecosystem in Indonesia. Any final thoughts you’d like to share?
Faizal Senen: I believe that we learn by engaging with others and asking questions. Sometimes, I like to pretend that I’m not sure about tech or act confused so that people around me will share their insights. After all, the best way to learn is through conversation and collaboration!
